The International Garden Photographer of the Year Competition 2013 - winning portfolio entry and Royal Photographic Society gold medal winner.
Almost at the last minute I entered a portfolio of images in The International Garden Photographer of the Year Competition (IGPOTY) 2013 . It was a chance to take some of the images I had been assembling as my contribution to the Meet Your Neighbours (MYN) project where living subject are photographed in the field against a back-lit, white, acrylic panel. The common element was that, in our wild garden in Italy, these creatures were caught by the camera within 20 yards of our old farm house.
