Strawberry Tree (Arbutus andrachne) a common shrub/ small tree of the Mediterranean maquis and aslso the foodplant of the larvae of the Two-tailed Pasha butterfly (Charaxes jasius). The berries are edible but rather insipid. Photographed nr Orvieto, Italy ,October 2013.
