
Scarlet lily beetle (Lilioceris lilii) also known as the red lily beetle, or lily leaf beetle eats the leaves, stem, buds, and flowers, of. members of the family Liliaceae ( lilies, fritillaries etc) It lays its eggs most often on Lilium and Fritillaria species: fewer eggs are laid on other genera thus reducing survival rates of eggs and larvae.
