Rosy garlic (Allium roseum) - Flower Portraits
Rosy garlic (Allium roseum) is an edible, species of wild garlic native to the Mediterranean region and nearby areas, with a natural range extending from Portugal and Morocco to Turkey and the Palestine region.

Rosy garlic is widely cultivated, and has also become naturalised in other regions outside its natural range. Its odour is sufficiently powerful to deter animals such as deer and squirrel from attempting to eat it and it can be planted with other bulbs in a garden as a deterrent.
