Creeping Ladies Tresses (Goodyera repens) . An uncommon orchid in Europe. The name ladies tresses derives from the twisted flower stems that carry the tiny glandual flowers. The stems thread mossy cushions in pine woods,usually at high altitude, hence the ame creeping, Sibillini, Umbria, Italy July 20020
